We downloaded Overboard software for the free 30 day trial onto my $300 Acer laptop .

I've created words my son is practicing in ST and if he clicks on them he can make them "talk"!

This software is $199 so for $500 we can have voice output on our laptop. I used to worry about needing a touch screen but my youngest can click and drag so he's fine! (He washed his monkey in WebKinz so he's very able to use a computer.)

I do have BM and between the two, Overboard is far easier to work with. Your symbols are not childish, I can arrange them and use my own collection without any hassle, I can add my own text and delete and arrange without the hassle. I can change the appearance of the file in seconds, which does give me more time to be with my family.
