Includes... an Apple iPod PLUS various speech software options:

2. “Proloquo2go” with 8,000 SymbolStix symbols and Acapela voices

Pros: User interface and simplicity. Display size/clarity, portability, instant ON,
outdoor viewable, popularity will teens/adults. Large on-screen keyboard.

Cons: Not fundable by Medicare or Medicaid. But funded by many private Ins Cos.

           No switch/scanning for disabled users. Requires good dexterity/finger control
           in at least one hand. Not Windows or Mac software compatible.
           Only 3 software applications available designed for speech disorders/autism/etc.
           No USB port (no external assistive devices), no memory card slot, cannot
           install software locally, cannot backup data to drive. No mouse option.

Best for: Children and Adults with normal dexterity in at least one hand, no physical
