a high-speed internet connection was required to download
Overboard. At the present time, homes in the US are
split 45/55 between dial-up and high speed internet access.
File sharing between Windows and Mac versions
Overboard files (pages, boards, templates etc.) can
be shared between the Windows and Mac OSX versions
transparently. Fully compatible with no “converting”.
Schools with both Mac and Windows computers can share the
same files interchangeably.
Windows and Mac OSX versions are virtually identical,
written with a single set of source code and output to both
platforms.
Improved "import" procedure
to add
graphic
images, communication symbols, and digital photographs (in
any format or size) directly into Overboard's native
database. Imported images are added to the included
library of over 5,500 communication symbols.
